In order to cater to the busy schedules of Logan residents, The Boxing Institute has opted to add morning boxing classes every day.
With the option to train at 5 AM and 6 AM, the busy lives that we live can easily carry on as normal after we have smashed out a hard but fast morning in one of our boxing classes!
Morning boxing classes are a great way to get the blood flowing and kick start the day! Waking up early and getting an endorphin release from physical exercise can be a very powerful way to start a productive day. By beating the peak hour of the gym and having more facilities available to use, it really is a case of early bird gets the worm!
Morning boxing classes run for 45 minutes and are a combination of both technique to ensure we are learning the correct principles of boxing and also fitness, to ensure that each session helps tone your body and improve your cardio.
Morning boxing sessions are run by Queensland Champion Rafael Vilches, who has many years experience in the field of Boxing and Martial Arts and is still an active competitor. Rafael‘s knowledge extends to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), Kickboxing and Muay Thai, which enables him to provide the training with an open mind, but still remain boxing specific throughout each session.
Morning classes are free for first timers, so if you are thinking about trying one out to see if it is for you, get in contact with us and we can book you in for a free session, or simply show up five minutes before a class starts to jump straight in!
Our Logan based facility has 350m2, of padded flooring, because we know that especially in the beginning, the participant’s safety must come first! The occasional trip or fall the students may encounter while performing their footwork, will be met with a floor that is a little more forgiving and they won’t be limping the next day!
The most important thing is that students enjoy the lessons! If you aren’t enjoying your training, it’s likely excuses will start being made and sessions will be missed. In order for us to create permanent and positive change in the lives of our students, we need them to be in the gym regularly!
